Walking around Little Edo in Sawara, Katori City
Sawara prospered so much by utilizing water transportation that it was called "Edo Masari" (superior to Edo).
Townscapes that retain that atmosphere can still be seen along the Onogawa River and Katori Kaido.
In December 1996, it became the first area in the Kanto region to be designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings (Judenken).
Kurimoto Benikomachi Town
There is a farm shop selling fresh vegetables and fruits picked that morning, the local specialty Benikomachi, and processed livestock products, a restaurant called Ajidokoro Ippuku where you can taste dishes made with local ingredients, and a product exchange center that stocks popular products from roadside stations all over the country.
Roadside Station/Riverside Station Mizunosato Sawara
It was built in Sawara, Katori City, Chiba Prefecture,overlooking the Tone River.Mizunosato Sawara is a complex facility that combines a "roadside station" and a "river station."You can enjoy hands-on leisure activities such as direct sales of local specialties and sightseeing boats and boats on the Tone River. Omotesando, which stretches for about 800m from Narita Station, has been designated a Japan Heritage Site.
There are over 150 restaurants and souvenir shops along the approach to the shrine.

Katori Shrine
It enshrines Futsunushi no Okami, a war god who contributed greatly to the founding of Japan, and has been revered since ancient times as a "shrine" alongside Ise and Kashima. The grounds are designated as a prefectural natural monument as the "Katori Shrine Forest," and visitors can enjoy the changing of the seasons.
